Yesterday was opening day on the Warm Springs to Trout Creek section of the Deschutes, so today I did a solo float in my pontoon to say hi. What a beautiful, productive day. Caught about 20 fish (I lost count) and had many more grabs. No sign of stoneflies yet but they should be appearing before long. We are so fortunate to have such a great river to enjoy. Get down there before the crowds!
