Article on the change in the ESA

I’m glad to see that the administration’s new rule changing the definition of harm in the Endangered Species Act is getting some coverage. Here’s a recent article that gives a good overview. “It’s no longer illegal to destroy the one thing endangered species need most to survive.” My guess is that this rule change will wind its way through the courts and eventually be decided by the Supreme Court which does not give me a lot of confidence it in being overruled, but one can always hope. The Deschutes River needs that to happen.
