El Nino and inflation

This morning I read a report from Deutsche Bank that covered two of my interests, climate and investing. I’ve included the paper, “El Nino: The next supply shock?”, below and you might want to at least read the cover page. The extremely short summary is that the world will likely see a very strong El Nino late this year and the environmental impacts could be dramatic. These could add significant new global inflationary pressures from disruptions to food production.
